South Lake Tahoe Bill's Casino Building use confirmed

In the latest South Lake Tahoe news…As most of you have noticed Bill’s Casino has been closed for quite some time and for the last two months there have been rumors around town about what will happen to the building.   There has been speculation it will be used as a strip club and it turns out the rumors are correct.

The new owner Michael Laub recently set the record straight.  Laub, is a local attorney and South Lake Tahoe resident since 1965, purchased the former casino between Harrah's Lake Tahoe and MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa for $5.225 million last Friday.

He plans to fill the 46,000-square-foot building with retail, dining and a strip club. The new operation could create 70 to 100 new jobs, Laub estimated.

“I tried to find what the highest and best use (for the property) in the context of its surroundings,” Laub said of his plans.

Hmm…. I am not sure that this was the “best use”  for this property,  but like it or not hear it comes.
